Established in 1966 as Haybuster Manufacturing in Minot, North Dakota, DuraTech Industries International, Inc. was founded by Joe Anderson. Recognizing the need for a more suitable tub grinder for agriculture, Joe initiated J&J Manufacturing, later renamed HAYBUSTER. By the 1970s, the company, now in a larger Jamestown facility, diversified its product range, introducing "no-till" drills and rock pickers among others.
By the late 1980s, recognizing the growing need for recycling and composting, HAYBUSTER transitioned to industrial products, evolving into DuraTech. Today, DuraTech offers a wide range of industrial grinders, such as the 9564 Horizontal Grinder with 950hp, tailored to unique customer needs. With a global network of over 600 dealers, DuraTech markets more than 20 products internationally.
- Tub Grinders: These are large machines used for grinding various types of wood waste. Apart from the 3010 model, there may be other models available.
- Horizontal Grinders: Similar to tub grinders, but they have a horizontal design, which might offer different advantages depending on the application.
- Trommel Screens: These are sieves used for filtering materials. They can be used to separate ground products into different sizes.
- Chippers: Machines used for chipping wood, designed to transform wood waste into chips.
DuraTech, renowned in the global equipment market, is committed to quality, innovation, and customer-centricity. Emphasizing ongoing growth and product development, the company's legacy and future are anchored in exceeding customer expectations and offering cost-effective solutions.
